2. Definitions & Scope of Application
For the purpose of this Charter, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned below:
- "Bullion" refers to 24K (999 purity) gold coins, minted bars, or investment-grade metal blocks.
- "Bespoke / Custom Order" means any jewellery crafted according to specific client specifications, CAD designs, or reference images.
- "HUID" means the 6-digit alphanumeric Unique Identification number laser-engraved by BIS-recognised Assaying & Hallmarking Centres.
- "Making Charges / Karigari" refers to the craftsmanship fees applied over and above the base metal value.
- "Buyback" refers to our guaranteed repurchase policy of qualifying articles at prevailing market rates.
- "Token Deposit" means the advance payment collected to reserve a bespoke karigari slot.
3. Pricing, Bullion Rates & 3% GST
Precious metals (24K, 22K, 18K gold and 925 sterling silver) are volatile commodities tied to spot prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and the local Lucknow Bullion Association.
Live Metal Rate Fixation
For in-store or advance bookings, the metal rate is fixed only upon receipt of the stipulated token deposit. Unlocked estimates remain subject to rate revision prior to token issuance.
3% GST Compliance
As per Indian GST law (GSTIN: 09AHIPV8272A1Z0), 3% GST is levied on the total invoice value (metal + making). A GST invoice is issued with every purchase.
Making Charges: Karigari fee ranges from 8% (machine chain) to 18% (handcrafted bridal Kundan-Polki), itemized transparently on the client estimate and final invoice.
4. Hallmarking & Purity Guarantee
Our commitment — "Trust Shines Forever" — is enforced through mandatory BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification on every gold article sold:
| Category | Standard Purity | Certification | Verification |
|---|---|---|---|
| 22K Gold | 91.6% Pure | BIS 916 Hallmark + HUID | BIS Care App / XRF Spectrometer |
| 18K Gold | 75.0% Pure | BIS 750 Hallmark + HUID | Laser engraving + Certificate |
| Natural Diamonds | VVS / VS, E-G Color | IGI / GIA Certificate | Laser Inscription + Lab Dossier |
| 925 Silver | 92.5% Pure | 925 Stamp Hallmark | Acid Test / Gravimetric |
Free XRF purity verification for any piece purchased from our showroom, available during showroom hours.
5. Bespoke Custom Order Policy
Clients commissioning personalised bridal jewellery, custom solitaire mountings, or monogram-engraved silver dinnerware agree to the following terms:
- Token Deposit: Minimum 25% advance for standard designs; 50% for rare solitaires or uncut diamonds, to initialize karigari and lock bullion weight.
- Weight Tolerance: Final finished weight may vary by ±5% to 8% from initial CAD estimate; billing reflects exact certified weight.
- Cancellation Horizon: Modifications/cancellations accepted within 24 hours of token booking. Post-24 hours, raw metal cutting begins and cancellations incur karigari drafting fees.
- Delivery: Typically 10–21 working days. Force majeure delays (hallmarking centre closures, festival rushes) excluded.
6. Payment Terms & Financial Security
- Accepted Modes: UPI, NEFT/RTGS, Debit/Credit Card, and Bank Drafts.
- Cash Limit: In compliance with RBI and PMLA norms, cash transactions exceeding ₹2,00,000 are not accepted.
- Payment Confirmation: For digital payments, jewellery is handed over only after successful bank realisation; a stamped payment receipt is issued.
- Card Security: All digital transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant gateways. Never share OTPs with anyone from our team.
7. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & KYC Compliance
In adherence to the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002 and FIU-IND guidelines:
