- "Net Weight" means the actual weight of the precious metal, excluding lac, wax, thread, or stone mass.
- "Gross Weight" means the total finished weight of the article including metal and stone.
- "Spot Price" means the real-time benchmark metal price on MCX or LBMA at any given moment.
- "Rate Lock" means the metal price fixed upon successful receipt of advance or full consideration.
3. Live Bullion Market Volatility & Rate Lock
Precious bullion metals — 24 Karat gold, 22 Karat hallmarked gold, 18 Karat diamond-setting gold, and 925 sterling silver — are globally traded commodities subject to real-time intraday fluctuation, dictated by:
- Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) — domestic futures benchmark.
- London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) — global spot benchmark.
- Lucknow Bullion Jewellers Association — local trade rate.
Binding Rate Lock Condition:

The definitive metal rate applicable to any transaction is locked solely upon generation of a physical / electronic billing receipt accompanied by receipt of advance or full consideration. Estimates & Non-Binding: Output from our interactive Live Cost Estimator is based on standard prevailing averages and is not a binding quote. Final billing reflects the precise spot benchmark at the moment of tax invoice issuance.
4. Handcrafted & Artisanal Variance
Each bespoke bridal ornament, filigree bangle, temple pendant, and antique polki setting is personally hand-wrought by heritage Karigars using traditional soldering, meenakari enamelling, jadau mounting, and diamond-setting techniques.
Weight Tolerance Disclosure
Due to the physical processes of manual melting, drawing, engraving, and buffing, a finished bespoke commission may demonstrate a variance of +/- 3% to 7% from the provisional estimate weight. The customer is billed strictly on the final net certified weight.
Gross vs. Net Weight
All invoices generated by M/S SHUBH JEWELLERS categorically demarcate Gross Weight, Net Gold Weight, and Stone / Gemstone Weight. Customers are charged for gold strictly on net gold weight, excluding lac, thread, wax, or stone mass.
Finish & Patina
Handcrafted pieces may exhibit minor surface texturing, tool marks, or antique patina — hallmarks of genuine hand karigari, not defects.
Making Charges Variance
Karigari charges may vary between 8% (CNC machine) and 18% (handcrafted bridal Kundan-Polki) depending on design complexity, and are itemised transparently.

M/S SHUBH JEWELLERS shall not be held accountable for transit delays occasioned by events beyond reasonable control — natural catastrophes, civil unrest, regional bandhs, statutory transit checkpoints, or national airline halts.
